Born in Dallas, Texas, Kevin started playing the saxophone at Jefferson Junior High in Abilene, Texas and hasn't stopped playing since. He considers himself a strict amateur although some of his fellow musicians beg to differ. He enjoys playing all kinds of music and is an avid soccer player. When he isn't playing his saxophone or kicking around a soccer ball, he fulfills his responsibilities as a Project Manager for American Express Travel. Prior to joining the Houston Pride Band, Kevin was a member of the Oak Lawn Band in Dallas for 12 years. Upon his job transfer to Houston, joining the Houston Pride Band was the first thing he did. Working with his fellow musicians to bring wonderful music to the community is the reason why he joined the band. His devotion and hard work as treasurer of the band's board has contributed greatly to the continued success of the Houston Pride Band.
